An Example of a Good Post
Ash wakes up and rubs his eyes, yawning. looking around sleepily his eyes finally rest on the clock. Startled awake he yells out "Oh my gosh I am going to be late to get my pokemon!" He jumps out of bed and into his clothes. Grabbing his trusty backpack he says goodbye to his parents and runs out the door. He screeches to a hault outside the pokemon center and walks in to see Nurse Joy.
"I've been waiting for you Ash. What pokemon do you want?" Nurse Joy asks.
"I want a Totodile." Ash says after thinking for a moment.
"Here you go Ash." Nurse Joy says after handing Ash a Pokedex, and six pokeballs, one labled in blue saying "Totodile".
"Thanks Nurse Joy!" Ash says as he runs out, anxious to start his journey to become a Pokemon Master.
An Example of a Bad Post
Hi everyone I am new to the group.
OR Ash goes up to Professor Oak and says "Give me a pokemon" and he does.
OR After getting his best friend Rapidash Ash sets out to the pokemon center to get his pokemon.
All of those break rules set on the Rules page and will get the application discarded.
What NOT To Do On An Application
These are the most common problems I have with applications and almost all of them will cause that application to be trashed immediately.
Do Not leave anything blank.
Do Not forget your email address.
Do not call yourself "Ash", "Misty", "Brock", "Tracey" or claim to be the brother, relative, best friend, or sister or brother of any of them or any of the Gym leaders.
Do not give me a one line 5 second description.
DO NOT CALL YOURSELF PIKACHU. (That has happened many times. There is only one Pikachu.)
You do not start out with any pokemon. No gifts or old friends.
